What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to replicate pilot actions during training exercises
- Respond to voice commands from students and input appropriate entries into the automated system
- Translate displayed information into correct air traffic control terminology
- Assist in the training of new air traffic control specialists and provide support for recurrent training
- Maintain a high level of communication and professionalism in all interactions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear and effective verbal communication skills
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience and certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
- Working knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Basic familiarity with current technological tools (tablets, notebooks, applications)
- Experience with pilot/controller communications or phraseology
