Job summary

Rising Tide Technology Group, Inc. (RTTG) is seeking a Remote Pilot in Command (PIC) specialized in BVLOS operations.

You will lead drone flights beyond visual range, ensuring safe and compliant missions while managing a team of operators in RTTG's Remote Operations Center in Huntsville. You will work within a security-focused environment, coordinating with senior pilots to maintain high safety standards, logs, and regulatory compliance for UAS missions, including 5G/GPS networking

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute 8–10 hours of on-site security flights daily.

Rising Tide Technology Group, Inc. We build, fly, and sustain UAS platforms in real operational environments and develop the tooling and firmware that makes them mission-ready.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Pilot in Command (PIC) specializing in Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead drone flights that extend beyond the visual range, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient BVLOS missions. Your expertise in aviation regulations, leadership, and communication will drive innovative unmanned aircraft system (UAS) operations that support various industry applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of autonomous flight technology while managing a team of skilled operators and maintaining rigorous safety standards.

Responsibilities

As a cornerstone of our UAS Security and DFR Operations, you will bridge the gap between autonomous technology and real-world security.

You will be working in our world class Remote Operations Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Surrounded by senior pilots and instructors with world class experience with DFR and remote operations, your day-to-day includes:

• Tactical Overwatch: Execute 8-10 hours of on-site security flights daily, monitoring customer locations for security anomalies.
• Dock Management: Oversee the Skydio Dock ecosystem, ensuring the hardware is charged, weather-sealed, and mission-ready for 24/7 operations.
• Rapid Response: Deploy the Skydio X10 from the Dock in response to security triggers or live incident requests.
• Shift Continuity: Conduct professional hand-offs with our remote operations team.
• Compliance & Logs: Maintain detailed flight logs and system health reports in accordance with FAA and RTTG standards.

Requirements

• Candidate must reside within the Huntsville Metropolitan Area.
• Ability to Travel up to 25%.
• Platform Experience: 50+ hours commercial or military UAS experience.
• Professionalism: High degree of discretion and ability to work within a high-consequence corporate security environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• You must be willing to work varying shifts (24/7 operations) which may change rapidly as needs require for our customer base.

Desired Qualifications

• 100+ hours of proven experience operating Skydio X10, Remote Flight Deck, Crew Based DFR, or other dock based sUASs, and RPIC Operations.
• Extensive experience with Skydio Remote Ops software and DFR/RPIC operations.
• Background in corporate security, public safety, or military UAS operations.
• Technical troubleshooting skills for 5G, GPS, and networking hardware.
