Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a comparable position.
• Type 40 wpm with 90% accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals.
• Speak clearly and be understood.
• Pass knowledge tests with at least 70%.
• Observe previous RPO duties and training scenarios.
• Complete on-the-job training for multiple simulation scenarios.
• Achieve simulation laboratory certification within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Receives voice commands from students.
• Responds to students via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology.
• Inputs proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions.
• Translates displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology.
