Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Online Tutor in Physics to join our fully remote academic support team. You will provide personalized virtual tutoring to students worldwide, helping them grasp complex physics concepts and improve academic performance.

You will use digital tools to deliver engaging lessons, design customized study plans, and guide students through challenging topics to foster deep understanding of physical sciences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related scientific field.
• 2+ years of tutoring, teaching, or mentoring in Physics.
• Strong understanding of high school and introductory university physics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools and a reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging online tutoring sessions for Physics students at various levels.
• Explain mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and quantum physics concepts.
• Use virtual whiteboards and screen sharing to facilitate learning and problem-solving.
• Develop personalized learning plans and targeted practice to address weaknesses.
• Monitor progress, give constructive feedback, and report outcomes to students/parents as needed.
