No AI background is required; deep physics judgment and the ability to evaluate complex reasoning are paramount, while you may use LaTeX, Python, and Jupyter as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics with demonstrated expertise and scholarly impact.
• Associate/Full Professor or PI with independent research leadership experience.
• Active or recent research in relevant physics subfields is preferred.
• Proficiency with LaTeX, SymPy, Python, and Jupyter; gaps should be disclosed.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate contested physics arguments and interpretations within your expertise.
• Compare alternative physics approaches and state which is stronger and when.
• Identify meta-level criteria for evaluating robustness of solutions.
• Assess assumptions, approximations, limitations, and failure modes.
