Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Physician Reviewer for Utilization Management to oversee UM cases and coordinate care across markets. You will participate in daily calls with health plans and teams, advising colleagues and driving quality improvements in delegated UM.

Candidates should be board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, with residency training in one, hospital medicine experience, and utilization review exposure. Remote work options and strong compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited Medical School with a valid, unrestricted license.
• Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Practice residency.
• Board Certification in residency area.
• Two years' hospital medicine experience preferred.
• At least one year of utilization review experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides Delegated UM by covering territories: establish 2-3 cases daily per market and attend health plan/local calls.
• Advises other physician reviewers and coordinates care for patients.
• Contributes to Process and Quality improvement in Delegated Utilization Management.
