Prolific is seeking locum tenens physicians to contribute their medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks. Physicians from any specialty may apply, with remote participation and no guaranteed hours or ongoing work.

Pay is indicative and task-based: US$130 per hour for invited screening, and US$216 per hour or more for project tasks, with rates confirmed per task. Eligibility requires a current US medical license and willingness to provide your NPI for verification; onboarding

Qualifications

• Current residence in the United States
• Registered status as a physician with a current US medical license
• Willingness to provide your NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding
• Willingness to complete the required training or qualification assessment after verification
• Access to a computer, a reliable internet connection, and the ability to follow detailed online instructions

Responsibilities

• Completing expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific's onboarding process
• Completing an assessment, if invited, to establish your suitability for the project
• If qualified and selected, applying your medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available
• Following the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task
