Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across many states. Physicians set their own schedule within a weekly framework and are paid per completed consult.

The role emphasizes addiction care, high-volume telemedicine, and independent contractor arrangements with robust onboarding support. Licensure in at least five states is required, with QuickMD covering license costs; expected availability is 15–20 hours per week across multiple days.

Qualifications

• Experience in telehealth or high-volume practice.
• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs).
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; DEA registration and state CSL where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate (QuickMD does not prescribe most controlled substances, except buprenorphine for MOUD).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
