Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedule and work from anywhere, with compensation per consult and hourly equivalents based on visit length.

All work is fully virtual, with support from a provider team and streamlined EMR. Licensed physicians in multiple states who value flexibility and high-quality care are invited to join QuickMD’s growing addiction care and telehealth programs, under independent contractor

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience with telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to commit to at least 15 hours per week across ≥4 days.
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided.
• Active DEA registration and CSL as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care with patient assessments and history reviews.
• Maintain compassionate, patient-centered care and therapeutic relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests to guide treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications; follow policy on controlled substances.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay updated with telehealth innovation and best practices.
