Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of Clinical Documentation experience.
• 1–2 years of Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding experience.
• 1–2 years of physician coding experience, CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS.
• 1–2 years of outpatient procedural coding experience.
• 1–2 years of minor outpatient and office procedure coding.

Aufgaben

• Review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.
• Perform E/M coding across applicable places of service.
• Code minor procedures, tests, outpatient procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Review records to support correct code assignment and billing.
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies per procedures.
