Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a remote Physician Assistant (PA-C) to serve as Clinical Quality Lead. This full-time contract role focuses on quality assurance, performance improvement, and adherence to clinical protocols across our telehealth platform.

You will review escalated cases, drive safety initiatives, and collaborate with medical leadership to enhance patient outcomes. Remote work, Eastern Time alignment preferred, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active PA-C certification through the NCCPA is required.
• Current PA license in at least one US state.
• Experience in clinical quality assurance, utilization review, or healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s quality assurance and performance improvement strategy.
• Design and lead clinical audit processes to ensure adherence to protocols.
• Review escalated clinical cases and monitor provider performance and patient safety indicators.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality events.
• Analyze quality trends and present findings to executive leadership.
• Onboard and train new providers on quality standards and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate care and follow-up with patients after adverse outcomes.
• Maintain audit readiness and support regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
