Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking a Physical Security Technical Consultant to lead the design, delivery and QA of security systems across projects, working with design teams, clients and consultants to meet requirements.

You will apply CPTED principles, coordinate with architects and engineers, review drawings for perimeter protection, CCTV and access control, and prepare high-quality consultancy reports throughout the lifecycle while engaging with stakeholders across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience with IP video and access-controlled enterprise security systems.
• Experience in security system design and telecommunications environments.
• Proficient in CAD and Bluebeam; BIM understanding.
• Knowledge of leading security platforms (Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Milestone, Avigilon).
• Understanding of CPTED, perimeter protection and secure design principles.
• Knowledge of EN and BS standards for security design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physical security requirements across project design with architects and engineers.
• Review multidisciplinary designs to identify conflicts and constructability concerns.
• Validate designs for perimeter protection, gates, access control and CCTV coverage.
• Provide CPTED and security-in-depth guidance during planning and design.
• Coordinate with site utilities, egress and operations considerations.
• Prepare and present consultancy reports and procurement recommendations.
• Lead client meetings and workshops; document actions and outcomes.
• Conduct QA/QC site inspections to verify installations against designs.
