MMRO Managed Medical Review Organization (MMRO) seeks Independent Physician Reviewers to perform objective medical record reviews remotely. Physicians provide evidence-based opinions on diagnosis, treatment, disability, impairment, and medical necessity without patient interaction.

The role offers flexible scheduling, no patient duties, and the opportunity to review cases aligned with specialty expertise, with support from a dedicated clinical and operational team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted MD or DO license to practice medicine in the United States.
• Active Mississippi state medical license.
• Board Certification through ABMS or AOA recognized specialty board.
• Minimum of five years of full-time equivalent clinical practice.
• Active clinical experience within the past three years.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet established review deadlines consistently.

Responsabilités

• Perform objective medical record reviews following clinical standards.
• Analyze records to form clear clinical opinions.
• Prepare concise, defensible written review reports.
• Meet MMRO quality and turnaround standards.
• Use MMRO templates and include all required elements.
• Maintain professionalism, objectivity, confidentiality.
• Respond promptly to MMRO communications.
• Participate in reviewer orientation and ongoing training.
• Incorporate feedback from Medical Directors.
• Support quality improvement through collaboration.
