Parallel is seeking a PhD or Psy.D School Psychologist to deliver comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and psychological services to students nationwide, with a focus on North Carolina regulatory requirements for third-party vendors.

The role supports IEP teams within an MTSS framework, conducts evaluations, provides counseling and consultation, and collaborates with educators and families. Remote setup with availability during traditional school hours is expected.

Qualifications

• EdS degree (or equivalent) in school psychology from NASP-approved program.
• For North Carolina candidates: PhD or Psy.D in school psychology is required in addition to standard DPI license.
• Valid state license or certificate as a school psychologist.
• NCSP preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year full-time on-site school psychologist experience.
• Experience across NASP domains of practice.
• Experience completing psycho-educational evaluations.
• Experience providing direct psychological services within MTSS.
• Experience consulting with educators and families.
• Exceptional communication with diverse age groups and backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to identify needs and inform intervention planning.
• Provide direct/indirect psychological services (intervention, counseling, consultation) for IEPs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals targeting social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout evaluation and service delivery process.
