You will handle high-volume requests, assist pharmacists, and use pharmacy software to ensure accurate data entry and patient communication. A valid license and strong computer skills are expected, with bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Formación

• Must hold a valid Pharmacy Technician license from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Basic computer and internet navigation skills.
• Proficient typing and data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Spanish and English familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• As per state and government guidelines, performs information section and patient enrollment.
• Answers high volume client requests, under direct supervision.
• Uses pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication data and processes new enrollments.
• Handles patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and processes refill orders.
• Investigates missing drug data and decodes clinical SIG codes.
• Communicates with patients via inbound/outbound calls and messages to prescribers and patients.
