Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services and The Cigna Group, is seeking Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our Tech Triage Team. You’ll be the first contact for patients, providers, and pharmacies, analyze requests, choose the proper resolution, and route or escalate to a pharmacist when clinical intervention is required.

This remote role offers training from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Must reside in Ohio, Florida or Indiana.
• At least 1 year of customer service, pharmacy, healthcare, or call center experience.
• Proficient computer skills and accurate data entry.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage inbound calls from patients, providers, pharmacies, and teams to determine resolution or escalation.
• Resolve non-clinical pharmacy requests within technician scope and route to pharmacists for clinical consultations.
• Document all interactions and outcomes in pharmacy systems per policy.
• Verify and update prescription information and patient profiles in internal systems.
• Deliver a professional patient experience while complying with HIPAA and quality standards.
