Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in TX/FL/MO/CA.
• Proficient with computer systems and able to type 40+ wpm.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and healthcare providers by phone to clarify prescriptions and provide updates.
• Support pharmacist callbacks and obtain refill authorizations and clarifications.
• Assist with pre-QA and data entry activities.
• Respond to email escalations and maintain prescription logs.
• Retrieve discontinued or expired medications and update inventory records.
• Maintain and document pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs; comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
