Job summary

BCBST BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technology Analyst I to support our Pharmacy team and technology platforms from a remote setting.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on requirements, testing, and issue resolution to ensure compliance and robust operations. The role emphasizes gathering requirements, data mapping, testing, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 3 years Healthcare Industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience with operational analysis and understanding of integrated, interdependent systems.

Responsibilities

• Technology Implementation: Support execution of pharmacy technology strategies to improve efficiency and align with business needs.
• Task Execution: Perform foundational tasks such as data entry, tracking deliverables, and organizing technical materials.
• Issue Escalation: Identify and elevate basic technical issues, learning to assess their potential business impact.
• Initiative Coordination: Support pharmacy technology projects by documenting requirements and tasks.
• Documentation Accuracy: Maintain version control and accuracy of technical documentation and system updates.
• Training Participation: Engage in onboarding and technical training sessions to build familiarity with pharmacy systems and workflows.
• Compliance Alignment: Understand how technical processes align with regulatory and policy standards.
