Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Remote Pharmacy Coordinator to support Eastern Time business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role focuses on developing, coordinating and maintaining the health plan's pharmacy program through outreach and operational support.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years pharmacy experience, strong communication, and detail orientation; knowledge of PBM or managed care is highly preferred. Indiana preferred but open to eastern/time zones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years pharmacy experience, preferably in managed care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with analysis tools/systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive/respond to provider and pharmacy calls (prior authorization/formulary).
• Review pharmacy/override process per guidelines.
• Track/trend overrides; audit prior authorizations; analyze utilization patterns.
• Resolve complaints with Pharmacy team.
• Educate providers on pharmacy processes; assist with IMR and reporting.
