Job summary

Centene is seeking a remote Indiana Pharmacist leader to develop and direct a comprehensive pharmacy benefit management program. The Director will oversee policy, utilization management, formulary oversight, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with health plan leadership.

Ideal candidate has strong managed care pharmacy experience, prior staff supervision, and a track record of implementing innovative, compliant solutions aligned with corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or PharmD in pharmacy required.
• 3+ years clinical pharmacy care experience.
• 3+ years contracting, quality improvement and management in healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, direct and implement the PBM program.
• Oversee contracts and ensure performance standards with vendors.
• Lead pharmacy department activities, budgeting and regulatory compliance.
• Support provider education programs and policy development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or PharmD in pharmacy

3+ years clinical pharmacy care experience

3+ years contracting/quality management in healthcare

Indiana Pharmacist license or eligibility
