Aledade PBC seeks a Pharmacy Outreach Specialist to connect patients, providers and pharmacies to improve medication adherence. You will use empathy, problem-solving and clear communication to remove barriers and support quality measures across healthcare.

The role emphasizes patient engagement, collaboration with providers, and improving pharmacy workflows within a remote-first, inclusive culture. Training and growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center performing patient outreach.
• Regular and predictable attendance; ability to work 8 AM–7 PM EST with possible evenings/Saturdays.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening and negotiation skills.
• Ability to overcome objections and build rapport with patients/customers.
• Proficient with call center platforms and EHR systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with adaptability.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and handle high-volume calls with patients, providers, and pharmacies using established scripts while meeting performance goals.
• Collaborate with patients to solve barriers to adherence (cost, forgetfulness, perceived need).
• Overcome objections and secure patient commitment to medication adherence.
• Coordinate with medical providers or pharmacies to ensure timely refills.
• Accurately document interactions, outcomes, and barriers in systems.
• Identify opportunities to enhance pharmacy workflows and processes.
• Participate in training and peer learning to build pharmacy quality metrics knowledge.
• Provide feedback and assist others to meet program and department goals.
