Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the United States.
• 2+ years of Prior Authorization review experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review prior authorization requests and render coverage determinations.
• Convey decisions promptly to physicians, health plans, patients, and providers per process.
• Collaborate with technicians and PA team to collect data for clinical assessments.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls to facilitate PA requests and resolve escalations.
• Maintain knowledge of drug and disease states for Specialty and Non-Specialty programs.
• Attend training sessions and provide on-call after-hours pharmacist availability.
