Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking licensed Pharmacists to join a remote healthcare team supporting prior authorization reviews. This position is responsible for reviewing medication requests and completing clinical criteria in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• High school diploma or GED must be verifiable.

Job Posting: Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization

Location: Fully Remote – Work from Home (U.S.)

Contract Duration: Contract-to-hire opportunity; permanent placement is not guaranteed

Pay Rate: $53.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM in your local time zone, with occasional weekends

Training: November 30, 2026 – Five weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Central Time

Position Overview

Prior authorization or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience is preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of Staff Pharmacist experience with the same employer.
• Prior authorization experience in a PBM environment, particularly experience reviewing requests at the clinical determination level.
• Leadership experience, residency, fellowship, or participation in relevant pharmacy initiatives.

Note: PBM and prior authorization experience are not mandatory. New graduates may be considered if they demonstrate strong leadership skills or have relevant residency or fellowship experience.

Remote Work Requirements

Candidates must be able to meet the following requirements:

• Provide their own reliable, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.
• Submit an internet speed test screenshot from Speedtest.net, including the internet provider and download/upload speeds.
• Maintain a dedicated, private workspace suitable for confidential healthcare work.
• Have a smartphone capable of supporting the required VPN authentication application.
• Participate in training and meetings with the camera turned on.
• Maintain a secure work environment that prevents unauthorized access to company equipment and confidential information.
• Keep the computer and workstation secured when away from the workspace or when not working.
• Maintain stable working accommodations and comply with applicable remote-work privacy requirements.

Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM local time, with occasional weekends.

Candidates must be available for the required training schedule and ongoing work schedule.
