Job summary

Our client, a Retail Pharmacy company, seeks multiple Pharmacists for remote work within the United States. You will review prescriptions, check interactions, enter data, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements include an active pharmacist license, a PharmD or bachelor in pharmacy, and 2 years of experience. Basic computer skills are needed; retail/hospital background and PBM exposure are valued. Benefits include health coverage and referral opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing required.
• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Pharmacist.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred; PBM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review patient profile, drug interactions, and usage database with prescription.
• Determine if physician clarification is needed or if therapeutic intervention is required.
• Enter prescriptions into the computer and assist with patient questions.
• Coordinate with doctors and health care professionals for follow-ups.
• Dispense prescriptions and perform final dispensing quality checks.
• Translate prescriptions and perform compounding as needed and coordinate clinical services.
• Interact with patients and physicians by phone or mail for patient care.
• Resolve orders via the External Adjudication queue.
