Job summary

Medasource is hiring 30+ Clinical Pharmacists to join a fully remote telephonic clinical team focused on medication adherence and Medicare STARS outcomes. This contract role offers 100% remote work, with start today and a contract through 12/31/2026.

You will conduct telephonic medication consults, address adherence barriers, and provide disease state counseling for diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, all while meeting productivity and quality goals and working with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• PharmD or ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree with NAPLEX
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of work
• 1+ year of clinical pharmacy practice experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic medication consults with Medicare members, including adherence outreach and MTM/CMR
• Identify and address adherence barriers and coordinate with prescribers/pharmacies
• Provide disease state counseling for diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and more
• Screen for drug interactions and optimize medication therapy
• Provide telephonic clinical consults to field-based clinicians
• Meet weekly and monthly productivity and quality goals with coaching and support

Medasource is hiring 30+ Clinical Pharmacists to join a growing telephonic clinical team focused on medication adherence and Medicare STARS quality outcomes. If you love patient counseling and want a fully remote role away from the retail counter, this is a great fit!

What You’ll Do

• Conduct telephonic medication consults with Medicare members, including adherence outreach, medication reviews, and MTM/CMR consultations
• Identify and address adherence barriers such as cost, side effects, or access, and work with prescribers and pharmacies to resolve them
• Provide disease state counseling for diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and more using a health-literate, member-centered approach
• Screen for drug interactions and help optimize medication therapy
• Provide telephonic clinical consults to field-based advanced practice clinicians
• Meet weekly and monthly productivity and quality goals with ongoing coaching and support

Schedule & Contract

• Contract runs now through the end of the year (12/31/2026)
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM in your local time zone
• Eastern and Central time zones preferred; Pacific considered
• Equipment provided

Required Qualifications

• PharmD or pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited program, with NAPLEX passed
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state you’ll work from
• 1+ year of clinical pharmacy practice experience (retail, ambulatory, hospital, and managed care all count)
• Comfortable with high-volume phone work and typing while navigating multiple screens
• Private, distraction-free, HIPAA-compliant home workspace (no childcare during work hours)
• High-speed cable or DSL internet with a hard-wired connection to your modem or router

Preferred Qualifications

• MTM/CMR experience
• Call center or telephonic pharmacy experience
• Medicare STARS and HEDIS knowledge
• Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Russian, or Vietnamese
• Pharmacist license in AL, ID, KY, LA, MD, OR, TN, or VT
• Residency or fellowship, BPS certification, or Certified Geriatric Pharmacist credential
