Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field is required.
• 4–6 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry principles.
• Hands-on experience with biochemical and cellular assays for target validation and compound screening.
• Strong understanding of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug metabolism.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and scientific literature databases.
• Excellent scientific writing and communication skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a virtual team.

Responsibilities

• Design, synthesize, and characterize novel small molecules with therapeutic potential.
• Conduct in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate efficacy, selectivity, and preliminary PK properties.
• Identify and validate new drug targets through literature review and experimental validation.
• Collaborate remotely with CROs, academic institutions, and other R&D teams.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and develop hypotheses for further investigation.
• Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and contribute to patent filings.
