Job summary

Capio Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist personal injury law firm in the United Kingdom. We seek an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to manage their own fast-track caseload and take ownership of claims through to resolution.

You will handle EL/PL/RTA matters, work with clients, insurers, medical experts and other parties, and progress cases through pre-litigation and litigation stages in a fully remote, flexible role.

Qualifications

• Experience handling claimant personal injury claims.
• Experience using the MOJ Portal.
• Experience handling EL/PL/RTA matters.
• Qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own fast-track claimant personal injury caseload from instruction to conclusion.
• Progress claims through pre-litigation and litigation stages.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, solicitors, medical experts and third parties.
• Prepare correspondence and documentation throughout the lifecycle of a claim.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive file records.

The Opportunity:

We’re working with a well-established specialist personal injury law firm with a strong reputation for representing individuals who have suffered injury through the negligence of others.

The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to join its team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys managing their own caseload, building strong client relationships and taking ownership of claims through to successful resolution.

You’ll work across a varied caseload of fast-track claimant personal injury matters, including Employer’s Liability, Public Liability, Occupiers’ Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of fast-track claimant personal injury matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
• Progressing claims through both pre-litigation and litigation stages.
• Handling a varied portfolio of EL, PL and RTA matters.
• Making effective use of case management systems and relevant online portals.
• Managing deadlines and ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in accordance with required procedures.
• Communicating regularly with clients, insurers, solicitors, medical experts and other third parties.
• Preparing correspondence and documentation throughout the lifecycle of a claim.
• Negotiating settlements and working towards the best possible outcome for clients.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive file records.
• Working towards agreed financial, time-recording and performance targets.
• Building strong professional relationships with clients and external contacts.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider team.
• Reporting into the relevant team leader/supervisor and providing updates on caseload progression.

About You
