Job summary

Jobgether is listing a Personal Injury Paralegal role on behalf of a partner law firm based in the United States. This fully remote position supports a U.S. plaintiff-side personal injury practice, handling intake, evidence collection, settlement negotiations, and litigation prep.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional paralegal, lawyer, or attorney experience.
• At least 2 years as a personal injury paralegal in a US law firm.
• Strong knowledge of US plaintiff-side personal injury matters and lifecycle.
• Experience obtaining and organizing medical records, insurance docs, and evidence.
• Experience drafting settlement demands and supporting settlement processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Advanced experience using AI tools to support workflows.
• Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office.
• Availability during US business hours for long-term remote role.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in managing plaintiff-side personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation.
• Conduct client intake and collect information on accidents, injuries, insurance, employment, and medical history.
• Request, review, and organize medical records, medical bills, police reports, insurance records, and other evidence.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding medical treatment, case progress, and milestones.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
• Prepare settlement demand packages, documentation, correspondence, and case summaries.
• Track treatment, insurance coverage, liens, damages, and settlement activity.
• Assist with lien resolution by gathering payoff statements and documentation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, notices, subpoenas, and litigation documents.
• Support deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial prep by organizing exhibits and records.
• Monitor statutes of limitation, court deadlines, and discovery schedules.
• Prepare and submit court filings using electronic filing systems.
• Maintain well-organized digital case files using case management platforms.
• Follow procedures and quality standards while managing multiple cases.
