Social Scout is seeking a high-velocity Performance Video Editor to lead our ad creative production. You will turn briefs, studio recordings, screen shares, and B‑roll into high-converting video ads designed to stop the scroll and drive booked strategy calls.

The role is full-time and fully remote, requiring 2+ years of experience with Meta Ads in short-form formats. You must be fluent in English, with availability 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (±1–2 hours).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience editing short-form video ads for Meta Ads (Instagram/Facebook Reels and Feed).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Expert proficiency in major editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong understanding of 3-second hooks, kinetic typography, and fast pacing.
• Ability to manage high-volume export pipelines and template components.

Responsibilities

• Edit, package, and deliver 40+ core video ad concepts per week with multiple variations.
• Transform briefs into production-ready Meta ads with precise timing, cues, sound, and captions.
• Create modular hook variations to maximize ad testing efficiency.
• Reformat assets for 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 formats.
• Organize and manage a large asset library including footage and templates.
• Apply fast-paced, native platform editing trends and color grading.
