Job summary

A leading clinical research organization in Pittsburgh is seeking a Clinical Trial Nurse — Per Diem to support investigators with research studies and patient care. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license and possess strong organizational skills, as well as experience in clinical trials. This position allows for local travel to patients' homes and focus on improving healthcare outcomes through research initiatives. Competitive pay of $50.00–$60.00 per hour is offered, alongside health benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience processing and shipping samples is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support investigators in preparing and executing research studies.
• Educate participants on study procedures and timelines.
• Monitor patient safety and report adverse events.

Skills

Knowledge of clinical trials and mental health

Phlebotomy experience

IV and infusion experience

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or associates in nursing with relevant experience)
