Qualifications

• Native or near-native speaker of Peninsular Spanish (Spain) with Castilian vocabulary and speech patterns.
• Exceptional listening skills with attention to detail for transcribing challenging audio.
• Ability to follow detailed style guides and formatting rules.
• Comfortable working asynchronously and independently on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Peninsular Spanish audio and produce accurate, verbatim transcripts following detailed guidelines.
• Handle challenging audio scenarios such as crosstalk, background noise, and varying audio quality.
• Identify and differentiate between multiple speakers within a recording.
• Apply consistent formatting for timestamps, speaker labels, non-verbal sounds, and unclear segments.
• Flag unintelligible or ambiguous segments according to protocols.
