Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking a remote, project-based Investment Banking / Private Equity expert for a short-term engagement. The role is contract-based, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week over 2–3 weeks, priced at $150/hr overall, but early-stage pay starts at $60/hr and can reach $100/hr.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity and a solid grasp of financial modeling and accounting principles.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity.
• Understanding of financial modeling & accounting.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models and answer financial questions.
• Perform corporate valuations (DCF, LBO, APV).
• Apply complex accounting principles to real-world scenarios (NOLs, DTAs, operating leases, etc.).
• Complete investment banking and private equity style analysis.
