Covington & Burling LLP is seeking a Payroll Tax Compliance Analyst to monitor all employer and employee tax contributions and reconciliations, reporting to the Payroll Manager. The role ensures compliance with federal, state and local payroll tax legislation.
The ideal candidate has an accounting or payroll background, in-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, tax legislation, and audit requirements, and will work remotely while being local to a Covington office in the U.S.
The Payroll Tax Compliance Analyst will monitor all employer and employee tax contributions and reconciliations for the firm. The role will report to the Payroll Manager and is critical to ensuring the organization is compliant with federal, state and local payroll tax legislation.

This is a remote role, but candidates need to be local to a U.S. Covington office.

Salary range is $74,800-$98,000 dependent on experience level and varies based on geography/ candidate location.
