Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience.
• Direct experience processing payroll and conducting payroll audits.
• Experience with Rippling is preferred and MITC is required.
• Strong understanding of timekeeping and attendance systems.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills.
• Knowledge of California wage-and-hour requirements.
• Experience creating, revising SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Review, audit, and process payroll using Rippling and MITC.
• Monitor time and attendance, including hours, schedules, missed punches, and corrections.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to time submissions, overtime, meals, and attendance.
• Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain payroll-related reports and tracking spreadsheets.
• Track KPIs related to payroll, timekeeping, and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and records.
• Partner with management to train new hires on MITC and hour submission procedures.
• Review and update SOPs, payroll procedures, and related policies.
