Sentara Health is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer in Virginia Beach to identify, develop and present cost-saving opportunities within SHP. You will analyze data insights, consult with internal and external stakeholders and drive savings delivery through policy deployment.

Responsibilities include researching internal payment policies, evaluating strategies for cost reduction, collaborating across teams, and communicating findings through clear policy documents

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data insights.
• Experience presenting and consulting with stakeholders across functions.
• CPC certification and healthcare reimbursement knowledge are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research internal payment policies and solutions to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Determine strategies to achieve savings through policy development, authorization criteria, and contracts.
• Engage with stakeholders to define, align and deliver new payment initiatives.
