United BioSource Corporation is seeking a Payer Procedures and Communications Specialist to maintain critical payer databases, manage insurance files, and support audits. You will liaise with hub, market access, analytics, and quality teams to ensure accurate, timely payer information and responsive payor policies.

The role involves educating staff on policies, tracking payer trends, and presenting progress in client meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience required.
• Payer experience with healthcare reimbursement, PBM, or hospital setting strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Payer Information Management System Database Files and update payer processing information.
• Serve as cross-functional liaison to share payer policy changes with hub, reimbursement, and analytics teams.
• Load payer notices into the database and communicate changes to staff.
• Assist with audits by pulling necessary documentation and presenting progress in meetings.
• Educate staff on departmental policies and best practices for first submission success.
• Provide payer trends insights to internal and client stakeholders as needed.
• Prepare leadership updates for hub stakeholders and incorporate learnings into practice.
