Qualifications

• Experience leading and supporting complex negotiations.
• Effective verbal and written communication to present advanced topics clearly.
• Experience leading teams, including cross-functional teams, and mentoring caregivers.
• Ability to synthesize data into clear, concise summaries without losing material details.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned payer relationships, including negotiation support and relationship management.
• Maintain expertise on contract language, rates, methodologies, and providers/facilities.
• Ensure contract language, documentation, negotiation, payment rate/methodology, and storage follow standard practices.
• Represent Payer Contracting and Intermountain Health in key relationships, including Joint Operating Committees.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with aligned payers.
• Coordinate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Legal and Compliance on risk-based contracting and initiatives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Payer Contracting Managers.
