Job summary

TEKsystems in Indianapolis is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to manage patient appointments and provide excellent call center service. This hybrid role begins with on-site training and allows for remote work, typically 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a call center, strong data entry and empathy, and can adapt to changing workflows while maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of call center experience.
• Strong customer service and data entry skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing workflows or departmental needs.
• High attention to detail, especially with data entry.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think quickly in challenging situations.
• Demonstrates empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Follow and reinforce all scheduling policies and procedures.
• Communicate essential information for each scheduled appointment to patients and internal teams.
• Audit and/or complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.
• Maintain high-quality standards while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, peers, and supervisors on a daily basis.
