Job summary

Chippenham Hospital, a national leader in care located in the Richmond area, is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant. From a remote station, you will monitor patients at risk of falls or self-harm and communicate concerns to the care team in real time to support safe, compassionate care.

You will document patient activity, protect privacy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold high standards of safety and quality across our hospital system.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• One year patient care experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork
