Job summary

Parham Doctors Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant (PRN) to remotely monitor patients at risk of falls or self-harm. From a remote station you will communicate concerns in real time to aid the care team and support patient safety.

Responsibilities include vigilant observation, risk identification, accurate documentation, privacy protection, and close collaboration with clinicians to promote compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and alerting the care team.
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity.
• Safeguarding confidential information and patient privacy at all times.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.
