Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication with patients, payers, physicians and staff.
• Ability to navigate payer websites and management systems.
• Strong multitasking and time-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility and benefits through insurers or Experian.
• Complete online or paper eligibility and benefits requests.
• Provide co-pay assistance to patients and enroll them online.
• Assist patients with obtaining free drugs from manufacturers when eligible.
• Order charity care and specialty meds when needed before appointments.
• Maintain accurate insurance information for patients’ appointments.
• Process authorization requests and update information in NextGen.
• Handle high-cost medication approvals and drug-team queue inquiries.
