Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for remote patient telemonitoring. You will collaborate with RNs and the safety team to assess telemonitoring suitability, communicate patient status, and support ongoing care while maintaining high safety standards.

The role involves direct patient care responsibilities, data collection, and coordination of care within the remote monitoring program, with a 36-hour schedule on days and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Prior telemonitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the safety team (RNs, nurse manager, MDs, and PCTs) to assess and reassess remote telemonitoring eligibility per safety protocol.
• Maintains timely ongoing verbal communication with RN regarding patient condition and notifies of significant changes.
• Performs basic tasks and supports patient care activities as directed in the remote telemonitoring protocol.
