Job summary

Responsibilities include obtaining referrals, pre-authorizations, and coordinating with clinics to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients, schedules appointments and testing.
• Obtains insurance and demographic information.
• Entry level position for all agents.
• Explains financial requirements to patients or responsible party, quoting co-pay, self-pay and co-insurance as required.
• Ensures communication services for hearing impaired and non-English speaking patients are initiated.
• Educates patients on the My Health Connection tool.
