• Manage prior authorization requirements by liaising with healthcare providers, payers, and patients to obtain necessary approvals.
• Review and reconcile patient balances, ensuring accurate billing and collections processes.
• Provide support and guidance to patients on financial assistance programs and payment options.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including billing, clinical, and customer experience teams, to resolve patient inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and financial assistance applications.
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies that may impact patient access and reimbursement.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in patient access and reimbursement processes.
• Adhere to all relevant compliance and privacy regulations in handling patient information and financial data.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
