Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Three or more years of patent preparation/prosecution experience in a law firm.
• USPTO registration as a Patent Agent is required.

Responsibilities

• Prosecuting patent applications and responding to Office actions.
• Drafting high-quality patent applications with detailed descriptions and figures.
• Conducting and analyzing patent searches for prior art.
• Staying current on U.S. patent law and relevant technologies.
• Meet a billable hour requirement of 1500–1700 hours per year.
