Georgetown Learning Centers seeks part-time tutors to provide Spanish-focused tutoring and support across middle and high school subjects. Candidates should be available on weekends and evenings and be comfortable using our online teaching platform.

A background in teaching or tutoring is preferred, with strong math/science performance as a plus. Remote work is available, with potential for hybrid if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience and desire to work with kids in a tutoring setting.
• GPA of 3.0 or above or higher from a top college or university.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent work ethic; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one instruction with students.
• Develop organizational and study skills.
• Cover a variety of middle and high school subjects with high competency.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to students.
