Job summary

Conexess Group is seeking an RPG/AS400 Programmer for a part-time role (30 hours per week) with 100% remote work. The position supports deposits escrow and sweeps applications, primarily for financial institutions.

You will join a team of programmers and analysts, installing software on AS400 and Windows servers, and potentially advancing to full-time after 12 months based on performance. Experience with AS400 and RPG syntax is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of specialized engineering training or equivalent experience.
• Familiar with AS400 commands.
• Basic knowledge of RPG syntax and structure.

Responsibilities

• Install software on AS400 and Windows servers.
• Assist with code review, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality.
• Design/develop programming requirements and software specifications.
• Assist with programming and testing all or selected components of applications.
• Create programming documentation as needed.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures related to software development, security, and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
