Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of new infusion centers. This part-time in-person but remote-enabled role focuses on high-quality patient care and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have an NP license in Kansas, 2+ years in outpatient/infusion care, and strong communication and clinical judgment to ensure safe, efficient patient management.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted NP license in Kansas.
• Minimum 2 years of NP experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment; IV therapy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with patients and providers, including scheduling and plan of care communication.
• Onboard Medicare patients, complete establishment calls and documentation.
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through supervision, chart auditing, and LO NM letters.
• Prescribe select medications in accordance with protocols and policies.

Role Overview: Infusion Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support the clinical launch of our new infusion centers. This part-time (approx 8 hours/week or 1 day/week) in-person role is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and support through the launch of our new centers. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.)
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication
• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence based standards, and organizational policies

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
