Job summary

Bitful is seeking an IT Security Specialist to maintain and secure cloud and on-prem networks, including Azure, within a regulated environment. The role supports a three-person IT team and focuses on monitoring, incident handling and remediation.

Responsibilities include conducting website penetration testing, coordinating audits, and updating security policies. The position is primarily remote (20 hours/week) with on-site days in Flowery Branch, GA every two months and an initial one-year

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience maintaining and securing cloud and on-prem networks, including Azure.
• Experience supporting regulatory audits in a regulated environment (pharma experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience conducting website penetration testing.
• Familiarity with security monitoring, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection and patch management.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Experience building relationships with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Relevant security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining network infrastructure, firewalls, security tools and secure Azure connectivity.
• Monitoring security threats, investigating incidents and coordinating remediation.
• Assessing security and addressing vulnerabilities across networks, cloud applications and website hosting.
• Conducting annual website penetration testing, documenting findings and verifying remediation.
• Facilitating regulatory audits, preparing documentation and coordinating responses and corrective actions.
• Maintaining and updating security policies, standards and procedures.
• Maintaining and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Partnering with IT and business leaders to address security risks, compliance requirements and opportunities for improvement.
