Job summary

ACCUFILE, INC. is seeking a part-time, remote Research & Knowledge Services Researcher to support our Marketing & Business Development team. The role requires 15–20 hours weekly, with work hours from 9:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, and frequent collaboration with the marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a MLS or MLIS degree or at least three years of related legal research experience, plus proficiency with major legal research databases and AI-powered tools.

Qualifications

MLS or MLIS degree or 3+ years of legal research experience.
Experience with CourtLink, Lexis, Lex Machina, and Westlaw.
Familiar with AI-powered research tools and analytics platforms.
Able to work under deadlines with high accuracy.
6-month minimum commitment.

Responsibilities

Support business generation tracking, including updating court dockets, entering and maintaining records into a CRM system.
Conduct research on attorneys, competitors, litigation case lists and documents, and other topical or legal matters as needed, using internal and external resources.
Search for and review legal filings using legal research databases.
Assist with data entry and the maintenance of team databases.
